Question:

What is the difference between my library card number and my FSUID?

Our answer:

The library card number is the 206 number on the bottom of your FSUCard. For security reasons, every time you receive a new card this number will change, along with your FSUCard Number. Library ID numbers are used to access you Library Account to view your loans or request items through Uborrow or ILL.

Your FSUID is used to login into your Canvas, myFSU, Interlibrary Loan account, and FSUSecure. This will be used for most of our library resources and services and should look similar to the sign-in screen for other FSU applications.

You can locate your library account information by going to my.fsu.edu > Faculty &Staff > Secure Apps > FSUID Identity Management>Account Information.
