Q. LEDS Parameters

Most physical books and DVDs in the general collections of Strozier, Dirac, Engineering, and Remote Storage can be delivered via LEDS. Our "In-Library Use Only" materials, like microfilm, some reference materials, and documents, are not eligible for delivery.

Scans of physical journal articles and individual book chapters can also be delivered via LEDS Digitization, as an email to your FSU email. 

There is no limit on the number of books you can request via LEDS, or have checked out to you. Please keep in mind that materials from several branches or remote storage may take more time to be delivered. 

Delivery Hours

Our team makes deliveries during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. Most deliveries are fulfilled within 48 hours, but you may experience slightly longer wait times with requests during our peak use seasons or if the item is coming from remote storage.

Please note: deliveries are not made when the Libraries are closed, including for University holidays or emergencies. LEDS also does not run during intercession weeks: this is at least one week in May, one in December, and three in August.
