How can I get access to items that aren’t currently owned or available at FSU Libraries?
Our answer:
There are two ways to gain access to materials that are unavailable at the FSU Libraries: through UBorrow+ or Interlibrary Loan (ILL). These services are available to current FSU students, faculty, staff, and retired faculty.
UBorrow+ is a nationwide service that allows you to request physical items from other universities located in Florida using OneSearch. If an item is not available from our original UBorrow partners, the system will automatically search additional participating libraries, including some outside of Florida, before suggesting an ILL request. That means more chances to get what you need, often with faster delivery, and no extra steps on your part!
