Can I take photos in Special Collections?

Our answer:

Yes. Visitors to Special Collections & Archives reading rooms and exhibit spaces may photograph materials, provided that camera flash and/or other lighting accessories are not in use.

Researchers intending to photograph materials during their research visit should notify Special Collections & Archives staff prior to taking photos and complete a Camera Use & Reproduction Form. For more information on researcher camera use, see our Reading Room Policies.
