Question:
Book Recommendation?

Our answer:

Hi Lauren!

Great question. There used to be a database called "What do I Read Next?" which, fortunately, became Books & Authors. http://lib.fsu.edu/get/bksandauth

We subscribe to this, and, If you like you can join for free (it keeps a list of your books)

I use this database all the time. You can put a title in for a book you liked and it will give you a list of similar titles. I did a search for A Short History of Nearly Everything and it gave me these results:

RECOMMENDED SIMILAR TITLES
Bonk: The Curious Coupling of Sex and Science - Mary Roach
The Canon: A Whirligig Tour of the Beautiful Basics of Science - Natalie Angier
Packing for Mars: The Curious Science of Life in the Void - Mary Roach
What If?: Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions - Randall Munroe

Searching for Physics by keyword gave me some titles like:

The Accidental Universe: The World You Thought You Knew (2014)
Lightman, Alan (Author)
